Kolar Experience Institute is excited to be a partner with OurShop, an initiative aimed at connecting local entrepreneurs with affordable retail space, while bridging community wants and needs with what’s possible in the marketplace. Partnering with The College Hill Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation, YARD & Company, and the Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile, Jr. Foundation, KEI is bringing expertise on the intersection of people, process, and place to this community building initiative as an insights partner.

EVENT RECAP: LICK RUN GREENWAY TOUR

A $2B sewage overflow project turned into a community park, greenway, and a habitat for local wildlife. Kolar was part of the team rethinking the way this space exists in the community, and telling the story of this space from prehistory to today. A brand for the greenway was developed to build connection within the South Fairmount community. Kolar’s partners for the project included the Metropolitan Sewer District, Human Nature, and Gray & Pape.

As businesses begin to look at opening up again post COVID-19, the big question on employers’ and employees’ minds is how employers can help make their employees and clients feel safe coming back to work? To help navigate what the new business universe will look like and answer these questions, the Kolar Experience Institute™ (KEI), a business extension of Kolar Design, developed the COVID-19 COMPASS survey as a part of a broader platform to guide the return to the workplace.

KOLAR DESIGN MAKES FIVE-YEAR COMMITMENT TO CINCINNATI CHILDREN’S ANNUAL VALENTINE’S DAY CARD CAMPAIGN

Kolar Design, an award-winning brand innovation company based in Cincinnati celebrating 30 years this year, is announcing its Kolar: Art for Heart campaign, a five-year commitment to Cincinnati Children’s annual Valentine’s Day initiative. As a part of the campaign, Kolar will co-create cards with local artists and match every gift made to Cincinnati Children’s between now and Valentine’s Day up to a total of $20,000 each year over the next five years.
